President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the approval of the National Strategy for the development of information society in the years 2014-2020

On April 2, 2014, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the approval of the National Strategy for the development of information society in the years 2014-2020. 

According to the decree, the Ministry of Communications and High-Tech was defined as a coordinating body for the implementation of the National Strategy. 

The Cabinet of Ministers shall develop and submit to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan the State Program for the years 2014-2017 for the implementation of the National Strategy within 4 months and shall take all necessary measures to ensure the realization of the order.
