The detection of knowledge from big data collection investigated

Head of department, DSc. Ramiz Aliguliyev delivered an annual report of the department led by him at the Institute of Information Technology. First, methods for development of Big Data analytics in the aspect of knowledge detection from big data collection and creation of general synopsis for texts  were conducted, he said. In the current year, Big Data technology for the oil and gas industry has been investigated with 1, 2 and 17 departments of the institute, he noted.

Head of department informed about investigations conducted in intellectual analysis of Data Mining. E-government was researched with the help of social network and intellectual analysis of texts technologies, he said. Indexes for assessment of activities of  scientific journals and researchers on e-science formation problems were developed, methods and algorithms for assessment of knowledge in the virtual environment on e-education formation problems were developed.

According to him, investigations in statistical development of observations carried out during the exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits and the studies of mathematical models were carried out.

He gave brief information about grant projects within the framework of scientific- innovative activities funded by the scientific fund of SOCAR and State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic Science Foundation and Science Development Fund under President of Azerbaijan.

In the current year, employees of department have attended in international and national scientific conferences and 12 conference materials have published, as well as, 17 scientific articles  have been published in impact factorizing, indexed in  scientific bases, existing in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of republic and other countries .

Express-information named  "E-state analysis technology: text mining and social networks" and "Azerbaijan science in Scopus database. Bibliometric  analysis for the 1961-2015years  " was published, he noticed.

Relations with Federation University Australia, University of Malaysia and the Institute of  Information and Computing Technology of Kazakhstan are continued, head of department noted.

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
