Terminology issues on Information technology researched

Report of No. 5 department for the current year was deliverd at the Institute of Information Technology.  

Head of department Sayyar Abdullayev presented activities carried out in 2016. He informed about scientific-research activities. Terminology issues on information technology  were researched, reporter informed.   Development of electronic terminography, choosing, translation, classification, systematization and preparation of glossaries were executed.

The II part of modern terms on information technology in the form express information was published, he noted.  Activities in Choosing, translation, classification of about 160 modern terms relating Big Data, Wikipedia, bioinformatics fields are going on, he highlighted.

The newest  information system terms based on modern terms within the framework of scientific innovation and practical activities collected from various fields of information technology was developed, Sayyar Abdullayev said.

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
