A scientific seminar of No. 16 department on subject “Role and task of media monitoring in the media-management context” was held at the Institute of Information Technology.
Research fellow of the institute Seadet Abdullayeva presented the report. She informed about effective organization and structure of media- management, application of CRM technology in media resources, main advantages of using Social CRM and so on.
In modern times, organization of web-sites management at high level assumes a great deal importance for the media organization, she said. Media agencies control activities of their web-sites by conducting monitorings.
According to her, effective organization of media–management gives opportunities for development of valid information source in the sustainable management of business, conducting statistical analysis based on single database, minimizing the human factor, cost reduction, improvement of customer relationship and so on, she stated.
Then, reporter introduced structure reflecting the stages of implementation of the media-management process. CRM technologies applied in the media-management is the analysis system of various data regarding activity of company and clients. These systems allows to improve efficiency management of customer relationships, to coordinate through interaction, as well as, to conduct centralized management via Internet.
Social CRM serves to deepen customer interaction, increase web-traffic and achieve high search rankings, get more cost with effective marketing budget, organize marketing campaigns addressed to audience, she informed.
Also, she informed about benefits of Media Management Information System used for the effective decision-making bodies in the media agencies. The main task of this system is to evaluate data regarding situation in the market and develop a model for changes.
