The head of department will make a report in meetings of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific Ocean countries

Director of the Institute of Information Technology, PhD in Economics, associate professor-Alovsat Aliyev will participate in the meetings von the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on 20-22 September 2016.

A.Aliyev's presentation on Sustainable regional seminar on ICT for the objectives of the World Summit on the Information Society and knowledge of economy and Thematic Working Group meeting of Special program on the eighth session of the knowledge-based development for the economies of Central Asia (SPECA) are taken into account.

The purpose of international events is increasing electronic stability within the global network under the framework of goals for the year 2030 on Information Society, enhancing more efficient use of ICT in emergency situations, to discuss the effects of natural disasters, states and businesses.

Note that the representatives who participate in events will make presentations about the role ofInternet and reduction of natural disaster risk in their countries and broadband Internet.
