Diagnosis and prophylaxis of Internet addiction of children and adolescents are discussed

A next scientific  seminar of No. 9 department  at the  Institute of Information Technology was held .Senior research fellow of the institute Nezaket Malikova introduced a report  on subject “Diagnosis and prophylaxis of Internet addiction of children and adolescents’’ .The Internet  is a educational and entertainment  tool  for children and adolescents in modern times.

According to her, check their e-mail and personal information every time, the time spent on online games and so on.  are included  to the signs Internet addiction. She also mentioned  psychological, physical and diagnostic symptoms of Internet addiction.

Activity on internet addiction prophylaxis is dependent on their parents,she noticed. From the first day  parents should determine schedule for the use of computer, provide useful web-sites and control internet activity of children, N.Malikova  noted.

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
