Head of department attended Conference on "Youth and scientific innovation"

On May 3, the Azerbaijan Technical University (ATU) hosted scientific-technical conference of students and young researchers on "Youth and scientific innovation" dedicated to the 93rd anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The rector of the university, Professor Havar Mammadov made a speech on the successful implementation of youth policy and the state care for the youth development. Youth policy is an important part of the state policy, he added and emphasized the care and attention of national leader Heydar Aliyev for the education and comprehensive development of the Azerbaijani youth.

Note that the head of the department of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, PhD in Economics, associate professor Alovsat Aliyev joined discussions and gave detailed information about the research at the Institute of Information Technology conducted on the problems of the formation of innovation and knowledge economy.

Then the conference continued its work on sessions on the topics "Automation and computer techniques", "Radio techniques and Communication", "Electrical Engineering and Energy", "Engineering business and management" and others.

The report on "Social and environmental problems of forming effective information environment” by research fellow of the Institute of Information Technology Shahverdiyeva Roza, Leyla Akbarova, and ATU Ecology student Maleyka Ibishova submitted to the conference was welcomed.
