Lotfi Zadeh awarded Nizami Gancavi Gold Medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Presidium of ANAS adopted a resolution on awarding World famous Azerbaijani scientist Lotfi Zadeh (full name: Lutfi Rahim ogli Alasgarzade) “Gold Medal named after Nizami Ganjavi of the republic of Azerbaijan” for his exceptional deserts in the creation and development of the theory of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic.

Lotfi Zadeh is a member of many foreign academies. He was awarded numerous medals by prestigious societies and foundations. He is Honoured Doctor of many foreign state and public organizations. The world-renowned scientist is a member and academician of the US National Academy of Engineering, and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.
