The concept of information system for the Republican Council for Coordination of Scientific Research developed

Round table held at the Presidium of ANAS discussed the initial concept of creating information systems for "Scientific problems registry" and "Thesis topics registry" of Republican Council for Scientific Research Coordination (RCSRC).

Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliyev, technical director of the institute, Dr. Rashid Alakbarov, departments heads Gulnara Nabibayova, Tahmasib Fataliyev, and sector chief Afruz Gurbanova, employees of departments 16 and 3 attended the meeting.

These projects aim at coordinating the science in the country, overcoming the lack of information in this regard, and providing information support and raising awareness of the academic community, academician mentioned.

Program developer of the Institute Yusif Sadiyev presented the created system. The system is planned to be launched on AzScienceNet Data Center. In addition, science.gov.az portal is provided with the links to the systems.

He also informed about the system functionality, its programming languages and databases, input data collection, data entry and the search rules.

In the end, design and operation of both information systems were discussed, suggestions and recommendations were performed.
