Big data technology is being studied

Extraction of knowledge from large-scale data collection is being studied at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, the institute's chief engineer of the project, Ph.D. Makrufa Hajirahimova said at the annual report of the Institute. She informed about the scientific-research and scientific and innovation activities of the department, publication of different types of books.

The employees of Institute has attended the grant projects funded by Science Foundation of State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic, and Science Development Fund under the President of the Azerbaijan Republic, the reporter noted.

Reporter presented the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the department, participation in the scientific and technical conferences, seminars and symposiums in the current year, publication of articles in the national and international journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC).

In the end, suggestions and recommendations on the report were expressed.
