Collaboration with foreign scientists is of great importance in achieving important scientific results. The Institute of Information Technology conducts joint studies with a number of scientists from the University of Malaya, Malaysia important scientific results are achieved. Recently, an article on the Automatic summarization assessment through a combination of semantic and syntactic information for intelligent educational systems by the joint authorship, was published in the British journal of Information Processing & Management (impact factor: 1.265).

The authors of the article are Asad Abdi, Norisma Idris, professor and doctor of technical sciences, Rasim Alguliyev and Ramiz Aliguliyev.

The article integrates the semantic relations between words, and their syntactic composition. This method gives better results compared to other methods in the summarization measurement.
