On May 15, scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS.

The event was opened by the academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Rasim Alguliyev. He gave information about the agenda. The event was devoted to discussion of the dissertations on “Developing the methods and algorithms for the analysis of information warfare technologies in Wiki-environment” and "Developing the mechanisms for the establishment of modern e-library network" submitted to receive the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

Sector chief Irada Alakbarova presented her dissertation on “Developing the methods and algorithms for the analysis of information warfare technologies in Wiki-environment” and informed about its urgency, scientific and practical significance, information warfare problems in wikipedia, and their solution ways.

The chief engineer of the institute, PhD Rashid Alakbarov, Dr., prof. Masuma Mammadova, PhDs Bikas Aghayev, T. Kazimov and Shafagat Mahmudova, PhD in economics Alovsat Aliyev and others expressed their views and opinions on the thesis.

Reviewers PhD Yadigar Imamverdiyev and Dr. Ramiz Aliguliyev expressed their comments and recommendations on the study.

In the end, the thesis was decided to be submitted to the next phase.
