on April 24, Dissertation Council held the following seminar at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. The chairman of the assemby, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Masuma Mammadova informed about the issues on the agenda. The meeting was dedicated to the discussion of the dissertation submitted for the degree of PhD on 3338.01 of the event - "System analysis, control and information processing" specialty.

Uzeyir Gurbanli presented his dissertation entitled "Developing methods and algorithms for customs risk control", and talked about the relevance, goals and objectives of the dissertation.

The main objective of the study is to develop methods and algorithms for customs risk control with the use of modern information technology, mathematical methods and programming technologies.

The thesis reviewers - Doctor of Science in Technology, Professor Ismayil Ismayilov, PhD Shafagat Mahmudova made speeches on scientific innovations of the thesis, and mentioned that the dissertation submitted to Higher Attestation Commission for the degree of PhD was in compliance with the requirements, and expressed their comments and suggestions.

Doctors Masuma Mammadova, Bayram Ibrahimov, PhD Bikes Aghayev, Makrufa Hajirahimova, Gulara Muradova, Nigar Ismayilova and others participated in the discussions.

The dissertation was unanimously recommended to the next stage.
