On January 29-30, 2015, Rome (Italy) hosted the first presentation of "Horizon Research Infrastructure Consortium for 2020" (RICH).

A memorandum of understanding between IIT of ANAS and the Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE) was signed during the event. According to the memorandum, the institute will collaborate on "RICH" project within the framework of "Horizon 2020".

The development of research infrastructures and coordination of the scientists are supposed to establish within the framework of “RICH” project.

The grants allocated within the framework of "Horizon 2020" program ensure to carry out joint projects with the scientists all over the world. National coordinating structures has been created in most countries to support academics to apply these projects, to cooperate and find partners.

Department of International Relations of ANAS is carrying out coordination for "Horizon 2020".

Note that, as the national coordinator of research infrastructure the head of International Relations Department, Institute of Information Technology (IIT) PhD Vugar Musayev took part in the event.
