Azerbaijan rose from 65th to 64th position for the development of information and communication technologies (ICT Development Index) in 2013, reported by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) the "Measuring the Information Society" report. 166 countries are listed on the ICT Development Index for the level of availability of ICT, their application and knowledge in this area.
As in the previous reports, Azerbaijan is among the 10 fastest-growing countries.
