Project manager of the grant on the research of formation of information economy in Azerbaijan supported by the Institute of Information Technology (IIT) of ANAS and Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, head of department, PhD in economics, associate professor Alovsat Aliyev visited United Institute of Informatics Problems (UIIP) of Belarus National Academy of Sciences.

First, Mr.Aliyev presented recommendation letter of the director of IIT of ANAS, academician-secretary of ANAS, acad. Rasim Alguliyev, and cooperation agreement, as well as some official information to UIIP deputy director for science and innovation Viktor Bernardovich Alyushkevlich.

Mr.Aliyev gave detailed information about the main activities and grants carried out at the institute.

Implementation of joint projects, the expansion of cooperation was discussed at the meeting.  Head of Department for International Cooperation of UIIP Efimov Yevgeny Nikolayevich expressed ​​a series of recommendations.

Mr.Aliyev attended the 6th International Space Congress, as well. He provided detailed information about the state of the art of space science in Azerbaijan, Azerspace-1 telecommunication satellite, and great interest for the research of this field.

Establishment of joint research groups was also discussed at the meeting.
