At the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS the regular scientific seminar of department No. 2 on the "Application of machine learning methods to intrusion detection systems" was held.

Presenting the report, a graduate student at the Institute, Ayshan Rzayeva, gave an overview of intrusion detection systems and the possibility of applying machine learning methods to these systems.

Then she compared the results of experiments conducted on various machine learning methods in the KDD-99 and NSL-KDD data.

In conclusion,  the report was discussed, questions answered.
