The robot is able to comment on its "activity" December 24, 2019 | 05:07 / Interesting information

Engineers from the University of California conducted an interesting experiment in Los Angeles. Researchers have been trying to find out how robots can explain their actions to people.

According to the scientific journal “Science Robotics”, a robot called Bakster, which is more popular for scientific experiments, was used. A robot with two arms is placed on the head of the monitor. The special sensor glove is able to remember all the physical parameters of its movements.

At first, Baxter was taught to open jars with safety mechanisms. Then, 150 volunteers asked the volunteer to explain their behavior.

Baxter tried to explain his actions in different ways. First, he showed a video of his actions to volunteers. He then described the sequence of key actions. The next time he showed a visualized schematic animation of his actions.

Finally, he tried to explain his actions to people with plain text in plain language.

According to poisknews.ru, experiments have shown that Bakster's explanation of schematic animation has become more and more clear.

Researchers believe that humans will find the easiest way to communicate with robots, and in the future, they will be able to interact with them more easily.
