Robots will participate in the process of packaging and delivering pills November 20, 2019 | 10:09 / Interesting information

Scientists from Stanford University equipped robots with a new hospital, which opened on the campus of the Stanford Health Center. Machines are used to pack individual sets of tablets and deliver them to patients.

Robots will pack individual servings of drugs prescribed by the attending physician to the patient. Small deliveries will be engaged in the delivery of pills, and another 23 robots will help the staff of the medical institution with laundry and garbage disposal.

In addition to robots, the hospital is equipped with smart home technologies - using the MyHealth mobile application, patients will be able to contact a doctor, control the air conditioning and light level in the room, hightech.fm  reports.

While the construction of such a hospital is expensive, Stanford University has spent about $ 2.1 billion on the project. At the same time, scientists suggest that automation will increase productivity and free up hospital staff and doctors time to complete more important tasks.
