Discussion of the report of the department №11 of ANAS Institute of Information Technology for the current year was held. Presenting the report, the head of the department, Shakir Mehdiyev, gave information about the department's research activities. He noted that research was conducted on “Research of scientific-theoretical problems of the of information technology formation and information society and the development of effective methods”

He also spoke about the scientific and pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities of the department, articles published in international journals such as Scopus and DBLP, and the promotion of scientific and practical results in the media.

An exchange of views on the presentation took place, questions were answered.

In conclusion, Academician Rasim Aliguliyev voiced his suggestions and comments regarding the action plan of the department and also stressed the importance of strengthening the scientific activities of the department.
