The 13th IEEE International Conference on the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (AICT 2019) kicks off in Baku on 23 October.

Today, at the conference session on cyber security, a report by Ramiz Shikhaliyev, chief scientist at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, "On a Model of Computer Network Monitoring" was heard.

In his speech, R. Shikhaliyev said that the increase in volume, speed and heterogeneity of network traffic led to complications of modern computer network  (PC)management. To solve this problem requires a new management paradigm based on continuous, effective monitoring.

However, a large amount of network traffic data is collected during continuous monitoring of the PC. This, in turn, reduces the efficiency of monitoring the CC, which makes it necessary for a person to join the network data analysis process. The rapporteur proposed a model based on visual analytics techniques to visualize the monitoring of the CC.
