Google is testing in a proprietary search service a new feature that simplifies the search for relevant information on the Internet. It allows you to quickly find the answer to a question posed by a search engine in a large article. True, the innovation is not yet available to everyone.

When searching for information through Google, some users noticed that when opening sites from the results, the page moves immediately to the right place with the answer in the article, and the latter is additionally highlighted in yellow. In the presented examples, it is clear that when requesting the difference between 4K and 1440p, a fragment of text is immediately highlighted in the open site, which describes the difference between the two resolutions.

It is worth noting that this function has been working on mobile devices since 2018 when opening some AMP pages. However, it is now available in the desktop version of the search engine. It works only in the Chrome browser.

Google employees said that the new option is currently available to approximately 5% of users. The timing of the global release is not reported.
