The semiannual report of Department No. 5 of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS for 2019 was delivered. The report was presented by the head of the department, Sayyar Abdullayev. He gave information about research conducted in the department for the study of scientific and theoretical problems of information technology and the information society and the development of effective methods, as well as the study of terminology issues in information technology.

The speaker noted that during the reporting period, scientific and theoretical problems of electronic terminology, solutions, current situation, management and organization of terminological processes based on the national system of terminology were investigated and articles were published.

He also spoke about the work done in the current year on scientific and pedagogical, scientific and organizational activities, the participation of department staff in international and republican events, the publication of articles in famous scientific journals, the popularization of scientific and practical results in the media.
