Leading researcher of the Institute, Ph.D., Associate Professor Rena Gasimova presented a report on "Some Problems in the Design of Domain Name with Internet Alphabet".

The speaker who provided information on the Internet domain names system noted that domain names consist of dotted characters:"The address management on the Internet is implemented through the Domain Name System (DNS). Today, DNS is the largest distributed database of daily query processing. "

She informed about The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, ICANN, Internet Assigned Numbers Authority, IANA, Reseaux IP Europeens, RIPE The World Intellectual Property Organization, WIPO and etc. as well as international organizations responsible for the functioning of domain names.

In the end, the presentation was discussed and questions were answered.
