Next scientific seminar of Department №5 was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. An employee of the department, Sudaba Abbasova presented a report entitled "Some aspects of the terminology database", giving detailed information on the management of the database, its advantages and management structure, as well as the terminological database administration process.

According to her, terminological database management is a series of operations that ensure proper use of terms in all texts. These operations include collection, addition, processing, storage, viewing, alignment, updating and distribution of terminological data.

At present terminology systems are managed by software ", she stressed. This software may be independent and specialized or may be part of a content management system, automatic translation tool, or translation management system.
