Meeting with the Head of Department of Cyber Security of the National Center for Nuclear Research held June 25, 2019 | 03:59 / Meetings

At the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was held a meeting with Professor Jacek Gajewski, Head of the Department of Cyber Security of the Polish Center for National Nuclear Research, an expert on education and project management of the project "Technical Assistance for Research, Inventions and Innovations in Azerbaijan Higher Education System", financed by the European Union . The meeting was attended by Vice-President of ANAS, Director of the Institute, Academician Rasim Alguliyev and Head of Department, Ph.D., Associate Professor Yadigar Imamverdiyev.

The main purpose of the meeting was the integration of science and education, the adaptation of Ph.D. studies to modern requirements,  the opportunities of Institute in the Technical Assistance Project "Strengthening policy and management of the research development and innovation (RDI) in higher education in Azerbaijan", as well as cyber-security discussions in cyber-physical systems and nuclear research systems. 

Academician Rasim Alguliyev informed the guests about the innovative conditions created at the Institute. He noted that one of the main tasks of science and education in modern time is to train the founders of the information society, and it is necessary to form the personnel potential for online environments. 

Academician R. Alguliyev expressed his interest in establishing joint cooperation between the two organizations and invited the guest to participate in the republican scientific-practical conference on "Multidisciplinary Problems of Personal Data Security" in November of the current year.
