Today a scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS.

Opening the event, the Vice-President of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Information Technology, Academician Rasim Aliguliyev congratulated the staff of the Institute on June 15 - National Salvation Day and spoke about the significance of this date.

Then the academician brought to the attention the issues on the agenda. He noted that the seminar was devoted to the theme “Scientific-theoretical problems and some applications of visual analytics”.

The report was presented by the chief researcher of the institute, Ph.D. in engineering, associate professor Ramiz Shikhaliyev. He gave extensive information about the history of visualization, its methods, visual-analytical concept, its scientific foundations, applications and problems.
