That is, applications can really help in weight control and reduce cravings for harmful products, writes Man Monthly. Scientists have tested a specially created application on 60 volunteers with excess weight. During the week, volunteers used the Tilt Task app, which showed pictures of food.

The user was required to tilt the screen of the phone to or from himself, depending on the image. When a person tilted the screen to himself, the picture greatly increased. But this happened only with images of useful products. Images of harmful products did not change much when the phone was leaning towards the user.

It trained the brain, causing rejection of harmful products and forcing to choose useful alternatives. During the use of the application, volunteers have lost weight, which indicates the effectiveness of the approach. People and in reality began to "repel" from the harmful, "bringing" useful products.
