LG promised to market its roll-up flexible-screen TV in 2019, but competitors are not asleep. Recently it turned out that Samsung is preparing a similar solution, but the TV will not be turned down (as with LG), but aside (like an accordion). The publication LetsGoDigital has published a patent for the design of a flexible-screen TV that folds into a kind of compact “rack”. In addition, the device will be designed to be folded. The design has a hard stand in the center so that the screen remains flat, and something like a roller shutter mechanism on the sides.

It is assumed that Samsung will show a unique TV at CES 2019 at the very beginning of January.
