Today, at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS a reporting meeting of the institutes of the Division of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences for 2018 was held.

Academician secretary of the department, director of the Institute of Physics of ANAS, academician Nazim Mamedov, opening the event, spoke about the issues on the agenda. He said that the meeting was devoted to the discussion of the activities of the institutes of the Division of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences in the current year.

Introducing the annual report, the deputy director for scientific affairs of the Institute of Physics, Academician Javad Abdinov noted that in the current year, employees of the Institute have conducted research in the field of condensed matter physics, physical fundamentals  and technology of optoelectronics, physical and technical problems of power engineering and nuclear physics. In the authoritative journals of foreign countries, 399 articles were published, including 195 articles - in journals with a high impact factor - 227 theses. In 2018, 7053 references to articles of the institute employees were registered.

The annual report of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics was presented by the Director of the Institute, Corresponding Member of ANAS Misir Mardanov, who brought to the attention that important research, organizational and scientific work was carried out this year in the structure headed by him.
