The new version of the Opera browser for Android supports the popular Ethereum Web3 API protocol, which allows users to perform transactions in cryptocurrency, and developers - to create decentralized applications (Dapps), which take advantage of this technology in practice. The term Web 3.0 refers to a set of technologies at the interface of cryptocurrency, blockchain and distributed systems that extend the capabilities of the modern Internet.

With the help of the new "Opera" for Android, users get access to Dapps, which significantly simplifies working with the cryptograph. To make a transaction, you need to purchase Ethereum cryptocurrency and store it in the Opera crypto window. After that, users get access to a variety of Web 3.0 applications in the Dapp store, located directly in the wallet. Cryptocurrency Opera is already available for free download in the Play Store.

Next year, Opera also plans to implement support for Web 3.0 in its desktop browser for Windows, Mac and Linux.
