Next scientific seminar of Department No. 15 of Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was held. The seminar was dedicated to the discussion of thesis ''Development of models and methods of Electronic university’s activity” on specialty"3338.01 - System analysis, management and information processing" of Huseyn Gasimov,  Head of the department, correspondent member of ANAS, doctor of technical sciences, professor Masuma Mammadova noted.

Then H. Gasimov presented the thesis and gave detailed information on the objectives of the work, the relevance, scientific novelty and so on. He said that the thesis consists of 4 chapters, result, literary lists and appendix. 14 scientific works on the subject were published.

The main purpose of the thesis is the development of the concept, models and methods of the e-university's activity in the virtual learning environment.

Then the author of the thesis voiced numerous questions regarding dissertation work. The discussion was attended by Ph.D., associate professor Zarifa Jabrayilova, Ph.D., associate professor Firudin Agayev and others. They voiced their questions and suggestions.

Then H. Gasimov answered many questions about the research.
