The next seminar devoted to the discussion of the report of the Department № 12 of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS for 2018 was held. The reporter- Madina Saidova talked about the research work carried out in the department. The reporter said that research was being carried out in the directions of developing indexes for evaluating the performance of scientific journals and researchers on the problems of the e-science, ways of identifying “predatory publishing”and “theft journals” in international academic databases, problems of formation of intelligent e-libraries in Azerbaijan, etc.

She also noted that this year defense of the dissertation work "Development of methods and algorithms for the evaluation of researchers and scientific publications" will be held.

During the current year M.Saidova gave detailed information on scientific-innovation and practical activity, scientific-pedagogical activity, promotion of scientific-practical results in Mass Media and organization of advertising-marketing work, strengthening of personnel potential and etc.

Discussions were held around the report, questions were answered.

At the seminar the articles were also discussed, which will be presented at the IV Republican conference “Actual multidissiplinary scientific-practical problems of information security" to be held at the institute on December 14, 2018.
