At the meeting of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS,  the report of the Department No.4 for 2018 was discussed. Rashid Alakbarov, Technical Director, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov, presented the current year's report. Researches on "Internet regulation and multifaceted problems of supercomputer technologies" are continued. Development of methods and algorithms for efficient use of virtual resources in mobile cloud technologies, analysis of scientific-theoretical problems of mobile Cloud Computing technologies, study of architectural-technological principles of mobile computing clouds, methods and algorithms for optimizing cloud computing in these clouds, as well as, security and privacy issues were also investigated in mobile computing clouds.

Research on "Development of Methods and Algorithms for Efficient Use of Internet Resources in Internet Technologies", "Development of Methods and Algorithms for Establishment Virtual Machines and Computing Clusters in Data Processing Center", "Establishment of  Enterprise Desktop Grid Services in AzScienceNet",  " Research and analysis of Program Management in AzScienceNet Network" of network technologies were carried out at the department. "Research and Analysis of Parallel Computing in Data Processing Centers," "Perspectives and Perspectives for Development of Green Computing Technologies", "Supercomputer Technologies: Current Status, Development Perspectives and Problems", "Current State, Problems and Perspectives of Wireless Networking Technologies" are among the research topics.

The scientist gave detailed information about the scientific-pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities in the department, the promotion of scientific-practical results in mass media and the measures implemented within international scientific cooperation.

The exchange of views on the report was held, and many questions were answered. By the decision of the scientific board, the department report was considered satisfactory.
