The next scientific seminar of department № 13 was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. Institute researcher Gunay Iskenderli analyzed articles published in a number of authoritative journals on the theme "Analysis of methods of detecting Hotspots".

The term 'hotspot' is used for various purposes in many scientific fields, she noted. According to her, hotspot information on the web is the identification of actual information.

She also informed about the detection and prediction of hotspots in online forums with the help of text mining and sentiment analysis, Finding hotspots on the Internet, based on K-means and SVM methods, text links for detecting hotspot forums,  expanded fuzzy K-means hotspot detection method for large databases,  cell phone data analysis methods and etc.

Discussions were held around the report, questions were answered.
