The architecture and perspectives of quantum computers were investigated July 03, 2018 | 03:40 / Conferences, assemblies

The next scientific seminar of Department  No. 11 was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. Presenting the report on "Quantum computers - history, architecture and perspectives", Kamala Zamanova briefed on the history of quantum technology. In 1905, Albert Einstein claimed that the light possessed quantum energy photon energy portions. Later on, physicist Max Planck, working on the light, suggested that light is both wavelength and particle. This theory was developed by M. Plank after A. Einstein, Nils Bor, Luis De Brugli, Paul Adrian Maurika Dirak and Volfang Pauli.

"The principle of quantum computers is based on the ability of electrons to have different levels of energy in the atom" , she noted. She pointed out that the speed of quantum computers was measured at 1000 trillion per second.

K.Zamanova noted that Shor and Simon algorithms for quantum computers are considered as quantum algorithms  and Simon's algorithm, based on probability mathematical calculations, was proposed by Daniel Simon in 1994 to show the effectiveness of quantum computers.

She also informed about A new quantum computer that can be compared to the size of the football field, Designed by British experts, Quantum computer consisting of five atoms created by physicists of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The first computer with 50 quantum nuclei presented by IBM, D-Wave 2X "quad-core computer, which uses the D-Wave Systems, which has a productivity of 600 times more than traditional computers, quantum communication and quantum cryptography and conferences held in this area.
