Semi-annual report of Deaprtment No. 6 was discussed at  the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. Head of department, PhD in technique Bikas Aghayev presented information on the work done within 6 months.

He said that the conceptual bases for the formation of audio-video spaces in the information society in the field of audio information technologies were investigated. B.Aghayev drew attention to the analysis of existing problems in the field of electronic waste in Azerbaijan in the direction of scientific and socio-economic problems of e-waste and proposals on their solution.

Speaking about the scientific-innovation activity of the department, B.Agayev noted that the employees of the department told about the work of the Scientific Foundation of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) on "Development of proposals for the establishment of an effective management system for electronic waste problems and their solutions in SOCAR" Funded project on "Analysis of Electronic Waste Problems in Azerbaijan and Development of Proposals for their Solution".

B.Agayev said that the employees of the department took part in grant projects on  "Development of proposals for the establishment of an effective management system for electronic waste problems and their resolution in SOCAR"  of Science Foundation of SOCAR,  "Analysis of e-waste problems in Azerbaijan and development of proposals for their solution" of Science Development Foundation under the President of AR.

B.Agayev noted that the department staff published articles in well-known scientific journals, participated in various scientific-technical conferences and symposiums.

He also informed about the work done by the department staff on the promotion of scientific-pedagogical and scientific-organizational, scientific-practical results in mass media and organization of advertising-marketing work.

Discussions were held on the report; a number of proposals were put forward .
