Next scientific seminar of department №4 was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS.

Opening the event, Deputy Director on Technology, Head of Department, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov said that the seminar was dedicated to the topic of “New Virtualization Solutions”.

Tural Mustafayev, head of sector of the institute, said virtualization has following types- desktop, data, storage, memory, software.

Speaking about Top Server Virtualization Programs, the reporter said that Microsoft, Citrix, Oracle and Red Hat are included in the program.

Then he gave information about the "Nutanix" server. This server was created in 2009 and added that 1,750 customers from 70 countries have joined Nutanix. Also he informed about server content and technical parameters.

The speaker also spoke about new generation data center, IT and business interests, Nutanix solutions, customer portfolio, and presented a number of statistical indicators.

At the end, discussions were held on the report, and questions were answered.
