MIT students opened the world's first fully robotic restaurant May 08, 2018 | 12:51 / Interesting information

Four students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the chef, owner of Michelin, Daniel Bulud, opened the world's first fully robotic restaurant.

The institution is located in Boston and received the name Spyce. It is arranged as follows: the kitchen of the restaurant is 7 autonomous blocks, each of which is responsible for cooking certain dishes, but they are connected by a system of distributors and a drum. Upon arrival in the restaurant, the client only needs to choose what he would like to try. After that, the standalone modules begin cooking. Some modules are responsible for vegetables, others for fruit, third for meat products and so on. To warm up food in Spyce, a plate is used, which is heated by magnetic induction. After each cooking the stove is cleaned.

The only employees-people of the restaurant Spyce are 2 chefs who follow the work of machines and are engaged in serving ready meals. Many restaurant critics rated the taste of food prepared by robots as "high enough." Well, with the help of the video below, you can personally learn about the design of the restaurant.
