The next scientific seminar devoted to the topic "Investigation of the impact of IV industrial revolution components on the development of information economy sectors" was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS.

The head of department, PhD in economics, associate professor Alovsat Aliyev gave information about  the essence of industrial revolution in the development of society and economy, the components of the IV revolutionary industrial revolution, basic and fundamental targets,  role and importance of the new industrialization process in the economy, key technological innovations,  technological innovations, features of the new industrial policy in Azerbaijan, as well as possible manifestations of the 4th industrial revolution in the country's innovative economic development.

The term Industry 4.0 appeared in Germany in 2011 and that it was accepted as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and was used to describe the process of computerization of industrial production, he said.
