Next scientific seminar of Department No.17 was held Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the institute, head of the department, academician Rasim Alguliev said that the event was dedicated to the theme "Perspectives of the society's analysis system through mobile phones". The scientist emphasized that such regular seminars are necessary in terms of increasing the efficiency and continuous development of scientific research work.

The presentation was delivered by employee of department Fidan Sadigova. She said that the development of information technology in society has led to the emergence of new research links through mobile phones and gave detailed information about the problem.

She gave examples of world experience for the solution of the problem, spoke about the most widespread methods and algorithms in this area. It is essential to simulate the data acquired by mobile phones to analyze complex data as a network, she noted.

She also talked about the opportunities of the PageRank algorithm used to analyze relationships with mobile phones.  PageRank is a simplified algorithm used by Google for the website rankings used by the company in 2014.

Discussions were held on the report, questions were answered.
