A book titled "Mobile cloud computing: the current state, evolutionary stages, problems and solutions" was published co-authored by Deputy Director on Technology of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, Ph.D. Rashid Alakbarov, and Head of Sector of the Institute Oktay Alakbarov. Editor of the book is PhD, Associate Professor Yadigar Imamverdiyev.

The book analyzes the current state of the cloud computing  and its development perspectives, and examined the architectural and technological principles of mobile cloud technologies. On the second level of cloud computing with hierarchical structure analyzes of network infrastructure based on cloudlets were analyzed. The scientific-theoretical problems of mobile cloud technologies have been studied and the state of scientific research has been analyzed in this direction. The issues of proper distribution of software applications in cloudlets and efficient utilization of resources were considered. Security issues were analyzed in mobile computing clouds, as well as the problems encountered in these computing clouds were investigated and recommendations were given for their solution.

By the decision of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, the recommended book is considered for a wide audience.
