At the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS a meeting devoted to the reorganization of the structure of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists  was held.

Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute, academician Rasim Aliguliev opening the event said that to improve the activity of Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute and to ensure active participation of young employees in the scientific and social life of this institution is the main issue.

R. Aliguliyev noted that the President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh pays special attention to the youth policy and takes complex measures to increase their potential. He said that one of the main goals of the Academy is to support young people's scientific and organizational activities and to train them as highly qualified professionals. The scientist also underlined that important tasks were set in front of  ANAS in the "State Program on Azerbaijani Youth 2017-2021", approved by the decree of the President Ilham Aliyev dated 15 September 2017.

The head of the institute noted that the main goal of the I Congress of Young Scientists of Azerbaijan, to be held jointly by ANAS, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, will be the discussion of the problems facing the employees of the Academy and the ways of their solution.

"Young people should actively participate in the implementation of the tasks assigned to the institute and become the leading force of the organization," R. Aliguliev said, adding that the members of the Council of Young Scientists  should become the intellectual young people in our country as a whole.

Then discussions were held on strengthening the activities of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists. In order to ensure the socialization of the youth, the Institute regularly organizes intellectual games, various exhibitions, organizes meetings with well-known people and so on. 

At the end of the voting, the , an employee of the Department No 12, senior research fellow of the institute Narmin Adigozalova was elected as a  chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, and senior research fellow, PhD in technical sciences Mammad Hashimov was elected deputy chairman.
