A semi-annual report of department No. 18 for  2016 was discussed at the Institute of Information Technology. Researchers on subject  “Transformation problems of three-dimensional objects from real space to virtual space and vice versa, analyses of problems. Capabilities, Technologies and Prospects’’ and  “Development of methods and algorithms for increasing efficiency of advertising and marketing activity in the Internet sphere” are carried out, head of department Anar Semidov said.

The reporter noted that scientific research is being carried out to create modern publishing and printing technologies, study evolution and development perspectives, modelling of various purpose polygraphic materials with the help of computer graphics.

A.Semidov also spoke about the scientific-innovation and practical activity of the department. According to him, in the current year the department staff have prepared materials for the General Assembly of ANAS, preparation of congratulations and business cards, accounting, personnel division, printing and binding of various documents for storage, the introduction of photo materials to "Multimedia Gallery".

Then the head of the department told about the inclusion of photos, audio and video materials to the Multimedia Gallery, a collection of audio records from the news of ELM TV and conferences of the institute, and the collection of information of  Institute's staff from the media. He also dwelled on the statistics of the materials collected about world-renowned Azerbaijani scientist Lutfi Zadeh.

Head of the department gave detailed information about the scientific- pedagogic and scientific-organizational activity of the department, participation in the scientific-technical conferences and symposiums, preparation of various books and electronic publications, publishing of articles in the well-known scientific journals and etc.

In the end, there was an exchange of views on the subject, many questions were answered.
