The report of the Department No.16 of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS for 2017 was discussed. Presenting the report of her department, Gulnara Nabibayova gave detailed information about the research work. She drew attention to the fact that the scientific-theoretical results obtained in the dissertation on the theme "Development of methods for measuring interstate integration in the e-state environment" were systematized and summarized in the direction of problems of the formation of the electronic state, and the dissertation will be presented for discussion soon.

The head of the department spoke about the work done to create a terminological information system in Azerbaijan on the problems of the formation of terminology. She said that in this direction educational-entertaining terminology was studied, suggestions were made, methods of automation of semantic network terminology and methods of automatization of terminology creativity were researched.

G.Nabibayeva told about the problems of web technologies web, analytics and web-spamming and analytics of web resources in the e-state environment. The head of the department said that studies on translating the Azerbaijani language into English with the graphic of the application of Azerbaijani language in virtual space are continuing.

She also touched upon the work carried out b the department to create and improve the websites of various institutions as well as institutions and organizations of ANAS. The speaker underlined that "Azerbaijani scientists’ diaspora" information system was developed and works on the preparation of "Transliteration" information system were carried out.  The official website of ANAS-www.science.gov.az portal, the website of the institute -www.ikt.az and websites located in Data Center of AzScienceNet science network were technically supported, also the work at the Institute's Multimedia Gallery was carried out, she noted.

G.Nabibeyova also informed about scientific-pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities of department staff, participation in international and national scientific-technical conferences, publication of articles in magazines recommended by the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, preparation of various publications, the establishment of international scientific cooperation relations and development, scientific-practical results in mass media.

Academician-Secretary of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliev put forward his suggestions and recommendations on the department's report and emphasized the importance of further strengthening the scientific and theoretical activity of the department staff.
