At the presentation in Seattle, Amazon showed several new products from the line of home appliances Echo. The most interesting device was Echo Spot - a smart alarm clock with a round 2.5-inch screen and video communication function.

The novelty combines the advantages of smart speakers Echo Dot and Echo Show: thanks to its miniaturized dimensions, it can be placed on any place in the house, such as a bedside cabinet, and the built-in camera allows the device to be used as a baby monitor - for example, to monitor elderly relatives or control of children.

Echo Spot has built-in speakers, but can also be connected to an external audio source via cable or Bluetooth, the manufacturer said. The alarm clock supports music services such as Prime Music, Pandora, Spotify, iHeartRadio and TuneIn.

In the US, Echo Spot sells for $ 130. The beginning of supplies is in December.
