Microsoft has opened a patent for a VR-stick. The new gadget is designed for use within the Windows Mixed Reality option.Visually, the accessory looks like a short wand with some buttons on the surface. Also on it there is a finger guard and a trigger. The specialists of the corporation have long been conquering the market of a modern headset and do not cease to amaze consumers. In the beginning of the year the company introduced special dynamics for the virtual reality to the market, and now it is working on creating a gadget capable of managing an additional reality.

Experts noted the similarity of the invention to Google Draw, but the tool itself was extended with the HoloLens button system. The company-developer applied for a patent last year and on the same day presented a demo video with Mixed Reality. Video instructs how to use the new device.

Microsoft said that several Mixed Reality sets are being prepared for release. They were presented by partner companies: HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Acer. It is noted that the cost of new gadgets will be slightly lower than the prices for modern inventions presented on the market today. The cost of a gadget designed for Acer, for example, is just under $ 300. Microsoft at this stage has focused on six degrees of tracking, taking as the main condition for the absence of external controllers in a single room.
