Tomsk scientists regularly make discoveries in various fields and develop new technologies. This time the attention of the scientific community was attracted by the invention of researchers from the Tomsk University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR). They managed to create a lamp that helps people get out of the state of depression.

The device developed in TUSUR not only allows you to cope with depression but also significantly increases the efficiency of the person. A special lamp creates a flickering, which is perceived by a person through the retina of the eyes and stimulates the rhythms of the brain. Alpha rhythms (8-14 Hz) normalize the emotional state, and beta (14-40 Hz) - working capacity. To successfully stimulate the brain, a session lasting about ten minutes is necessary. If the device is not used for its main purpose, it can serve as a normal lighting lamp.
