Google purchased a diagnostic diagnosis service using a smartphone August 16, 2017 | 03:11 / Interesting information

Expert in computer technology at the University of Washington Shvetak Patel sold his startup Senosis Health to Google. This is reported by sources familiar with the situation.

Earlier, Patel has already sold several of his start-ups to companies such as Belkin International and Sears. In 2011, Patel, who together with four other scientists created Senosis Health, won a "grant for geniuses" McArthur Scholarship.

With the help of Senosis and special sensors built into modern smartphones, the user can determine the lung function and haemoglobin level, which will allow them to undergo basic clinical tests without leaving home. More than ten scientists are working on the project Senosis, in addition to Patel.

How much Google cost the purchase of Senosis Health is not specified.
