Head of department of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS Gulnara Nabibayova was awarded with Honorary Diploma on the occasion of her 60th anniversary.

Academician –secretary of the ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliev who presented the decree said that G.Nabibeyova is always at the center of attention of leadership with her high professionalism, efficient activity and productive achievements. 

Note that, Gulnara Nabibayova graduated from Mechanics-Mathematics department of Azerbaijan State University. In 1979 she was hired as a Software Developer by the Institute of Cybernetics of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). Here she engaged in the creation of Automated Control System (ACS). In 1985 was promoted to the position of Senior Engineer, and in 1996 to the position of Lead Engineer at the ACS department of ANAS. 

Her current area of interest includes web technologies, Data Warehousing, OLAP and Data Mining technologies, especially in relation with preparation of intellectual information system supporting decision making based on analytical information available within the framework of e-Azerbaijan State Program. 

G.Nabibeyova also carries out scientific and methodological support for creation of web infrastructure and its web sites within the e-science environment in Azerbaijan.

She is one of the creators of the current version of www.science.az portal and www.ict.az — the website of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS.  At present, the technical support of the official web portal of ANAS scientific.gov.az is carried out under her leadership. She has led the site www.ict.az for a long time.

G.Nabibeyova was awarded with Honorary Decree of the Department of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS  her for long-term scientific and scientific-organizational activity in 2015.

At present she works as the head of Web technologies department at the Institute.
